Meet Our Directors
Varun Goyal
DIRECTOR
Varun Goyal is the Director of Trusted Financial Choice, bringing over 20 years of diverse experience across the financial and banking sectors. Known for his thorough industry knowledge, strategic thinking and client-first approach, Varun is passionate about helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals with clarity and confidence.
Before establishing Trusted Financial Choice, Varun spent 15 years at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he held a range of lending roles and built strong expertise across residential, commercial and business finance. That foundation, combined with his broad industry experience, has given him a deep understanding of lender policies, credit strategy and the different pathways available to clients.
Throughout his career, Varun has managed a broad portfolio of clients, including corporates, SMEs, retailers, manufacturers, property developers and investors. His ability to understand complex scenarios and identify tailored lending solutions allows him to structure outcomes that align with each client’s unique objectives.
Varun’s expertise spans the full spectrum of lending, with a strong focus on residential loans, commercial finance, Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs), trust lending and development finance. His ability to navigate complex financial landscapes has earned him a reputation for delivering exceptional outcomes, including being named MFAA New Broker of the Year in 2023 and a finalist for MFAA Finance Broker of the Year in 2024 and 2025.
As a forward-thinking finance professional, Varun combines technical knowledge with a collaborative and personable style. He is a trusted advisor to his clients and a valued leader within the industry. Outside of work, Varun enjoys cooking, cycling and spending quality time with his family, embracing balance in both his professional and personal life.
Tripti Goyal
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Tripti Goyal is the heart behind the operations at Trusted Financial Choice. As Associate Director, she brings over 15+ years of experience in marketing, operations, and project management—but more importantly, she brings a genuine passion for people, purpose, and creating positive change.
With a background managing some of Australia’s top national accounts, Loreal, Woolworths, Aconex, Tripti is no stranger to pressure or complexity. She thrives on bringing structure to chaos, leading teams with empathy, and building strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders alike. Her dual degree from Monash University supports her ability to balance strategic insight with hands-on execution.
At TFC, Tripti leads the marketing and operational strategy, strengthening brand visibility, optimising internal processes, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. She has been instrumental in growing the firm’s presence across social media and community channels, ensuring that the brand reflects its values—trust, integrity, and care. She’s passionate about using her skills to create a business that not only succeeds but gives back to the community along the way.
Outside the office, Tripti enjoys spending time with her family, watching mystery movies, writing poetry, and hosting dinner parties filled with laughter and good company.

Aatir Zaman
LOAN ADMINISTRATOR
Aatir is a dedicated Loan Administrator at Trusted Financial Choice, focused on delivering a smooth and supportive experience for clients throughout the lending process. Once the finance strategy has been established, Aatir manages the day-to-day progress of each file, working closely with clients, lenders and stakeholders to keep applications moving efficiently and accurately.
With a strong client-first approach, Aatir understands that great service goes beyond processing paperwork. He takes the time to communicate clearly, understand each client’s goals and provide consistent support from application through to settlement. His proactive approach helps create a positive client experience and builds the trust that leads to long-term relationships and repeat business.
Outside of the office, Aatir enjoys bingeing Netflix, discovering new dining spots, and has a knack for crafting the perfect drink. Known for his sense of humour, he is always adding a bit of fun to the office.
Rocky Shi
FINANCE BROKER
Rocky is a Finance Broker at Trusted Financial Choice with more than 10 years of experience in consumer banking, including time with one of Australia’s big four banks. With a strong focus on residential lending, he works closely with clients to help them navigate the home loan process with clarity and confidence.
Fluent in both Mandarin and English, Rocky is able to support a broader range of clients and build strong relationships through clear communication and genuine understanding. His background in banking, combined with his client-first approach, allows him to guide clients through each stage of their lending journey with care, knowledge and practical support.
Outside of work, Rocky is an avid collector of high-end sneakers and enjoys the thrill of finding unique additions to his collection. He also loves playing basketball and cherishes spending quality time with his young daughter.
Ghairat Mangal
FINANCE SPECIALIST
Ghairat “G” Mangal is a Finance Specialist at Trusted Financial Choice, supporting clients through the lending process and helping keep applications progressing smoothly from day to day.
He works closely with clients, lenders and the team, while also building strong community connections through his wide network and proactive approach.
Known for his proactive approach, over the weekend G spends time out in the community attending open homes and building relationships that help connect more people with the right finance support.
Fluent in four languages, is especially passionate about supporting migrant families, helping them navigate the finance process with greater confidence and understanding.
Outside of work, G enjoys boxing, cricket and staying active. Coming from a big family of nine siblings, family is a big part of who he is, and he takes pride in being a role model to his younger siblings.
Faisal Rashid
ASSET FINANCE SPECIALIST
Faisal Rashid brings over 15 years of experience in business and commercial finance to Trusted Financial Choice, with a strong background gained through roles at two of Australia’s leading banks, Westpac and Commonwealth Bank. His experience has given him a deep understanding of business funding and how the right finance solution can support growth, improve cash flow and create operational flexibility.
As TFC’s Asset Finance Specialist, Faisal works closely with businesses to help them access funding for vehicles, machinery, equipment, technology and other essential assets. He also supports clients with cash flow lending solutions, helping businesses manage day-to-day operations while staying positioned for growth.
Known for his practical approach and strong understanding of business needs, Faisal focuses on structuring finance solutions that align with each client’s goals and circumstances. He believes good finance support is not just about funding a purchase, but about helping businesses invest with confidence and plan for the long term.
Outside of work, Faisal enjoys exploring new technologies, staying active, and spending quality time with family.
Peter Georgas
PARTNERSHIP MANAGER - LMG
With over 15 years’ experience across banking, mortgage broking, and aggregation, Peter brings a rare, end-to-end understanding of the finance industry. A results driven industry leader, Peter is known for creating momentum, not waiting for it. He brings clarity, structure, and strategic direction to every partnership, coaching and developing brokers to achieve sustainable growth through discipline, focus, and high-performance standards. Built on a foundation of trust, consistency, and service excellence, Peter’s career reflects a deep commitment to collaboration, performance, and professionalism. His contributions have been recognised with the 2025 MFAA Excellence Award– Business Development Manager of the Year (Aggregator) and the 2024 LMG Chairman’s Cup Award – Compassion for Customers.
Lee Angelene Lagansoa
Administrative Support Specialist
Lee Angelene “Lily” Lagansoa is an Administrative Support Specialist at Trusted Financial Choice, playing a vital role in keeping the loan processing team organised, accurate, and efficient.
With a strong focus on the technical side of lending, Lily manages high-volume data entry across MyCRM and Apply Online, ensuring application details are recorded with care and precision. Her attention to detail helps keep files moving smoothly and supports the team in delivering a seamless client experience.
Lily is highly organised and takes pride in maintaining clear file naming systems and document management processes, ensuring every file is easy to track and properly maintained. Her role also extends beyond loan approval, as she assists with important post-settlement compliance checks to help ensure files continue to meet industry standards after settlement.
Outside of work, Lily enjoys the quieter things in life. You’ll often find her fishing, reading a good book, or relaxing with her favourite anime and Netflix series — usually with her devoted dachshund, Oshi, by her side.
